Dr John Pickering is the Chief Behavioral Scientist and co-founder of Evidn. He specialises in the analysis and modification of human behavior at a population-level to create positive change and improve outcomes for people, their community, and the environment we live in. John has expertise in systems-level thinking, behavior change frameworks, psychological theories, and has extensive experience engaging with communities to bring about widespread change for complex, systemic problems.
Jinny Hong
COO & CO-FOUNDER
Jinny is Chief Operating Officer and co-founder of Evidn. Jinny has a background in psychology and is experienced in the analysis, design, delivery and evaluation of behavior change programs for large scale and complex problems. Previously, Jinny held positions at The University of Queensland's Parenting and Family Support Centre for several years, where she assisted with the development of an innovation lab based around the globally acclaimed Triple P-Positive Parenting Program.
Michelle Amies
Finance Manager
Michelle has over 20 years’ experience as a chartered accountant working in both domestic and international corporations in varying industries and assisting medium sized businesses with their financial and taxation issues.
As Finance Manager of Evidn, Michelle provides the CEO with advice and guidance in the company’s overall strategy in financial management, compliance in taxation and corporate governance.
Irene Win Law
HEAD, PEOPLE & CULTURE
Irene is the Head of People & Culture at Evidn and is responsible for ensuring that our team are operating consistently at the top percentile by making Evidn a great place to work. Irene manages all internal training and development, as well as internships and placement programs hosted at Evidn.
Irene also has a background in psychology and is experienced in the analysis, design, delivery and evaluation of behavior change programs for large scale and complex problems. As part of her role, Irene provides extensive logistical support to all of our Project teams.
Katri Haanterä
senior Behavioral Scientist
Katri coordinates the company’s behavioral science portfolio. Her role focuses on ensuring project teams are equipped and supported in their role by providing direction and expertize.
Katri has specialist skills in behavioral analyses and identifying the psychological and behavioral targets necessary for behavioral change. She is also experienced in the design, development and delivery of behavior change programs, specifically for training programs and workshops. Her training work focuses on enhancing the productivity, efficiency and cooperation of teams through behavioral and psychological skills. As part of her portfolio, Katri has delivered training programs to the The University of Virginia, The Nature Conservancy New York and Queensland’s Agricultural Sector.
Toneya McIntosh
Senior Behavioral Scientist
Toneya is a Senior Behavioral Scientist at Evidn. She specialises in the analysis, design and development of complex behavior change programs delivered at scale. Toneya has specialist skills in behavioral analyses and identifying the underlying psychological and behavioral factors required for behavior change.
Toneya currently leads a portfolio of work across Australia and the United States in agri-environmental, sustainability and energy settings
Toneya is an experienced behavior change communicator and trainer, having delivered numerous training workshops and presented at events and conferences across Australia.
Sam Moore
SEnior Behavioral Scientist
Sam leads the Australian agri-environmental portfolio of the company. Sam currently manages multiple agricultural projects across Australia and has worked across numerous agricultural settings to design and deliver behavior change programs to increase the adoption of best management practices. Sam has a strong research and analytical background and brings forward specialist skills in delivering behavioral analyses and identifying targets for change across entire communities. A core component of his role is deep qualitative engagements with agricultural landholders to design meaningful solutions based on the unique needs and challenges of each community. As part of this role, Sam regularly engages with representatives of grazing, cropping, grains, and horticultural industries.
Crystal La Rue
SENIOR Behavioral scientist
Crystal is a Senior Behavioral Scientist and manages Evidn’s health portfolio. Her area of expertise is social psychology, and the social group processes that influence health and wellbeing. Crystal has a strong research and behavioral analytical background, with over 6 years’ experience in the development, implementation, and evaluation of behavior change interventions across a broad range of populations. A core component of this role is designing population-level behavioral strategies to drive adoption and stakeholder engagement outcomes across a range of contexts. Crystal’s role includes coordinating engagements with industry stakeholders to identify local needs and priority issues, analysing results, and developing recommendations.
Genevieve Kieseker
Senior BEHAVIORAL SCIENTIST
Genevieve is a Senior Behavioral Scientist at Evidn and has specialist skills in developing monitoring and evaluation frameworks across Evidn’s agri-environmental portfolio in Australia and the United States. With a strong analytical background, she brings 7 years of experience in project design, evidence synthesis and evaluation, and statistical data analysis and interpretation. Her role involves conducting in-depth evidence reviews and critical analyses, designing and delivering behavior change strategies, analysing and evaluating data, and developing recommendations.
Mahika Hari

Mahika is a Behavioral Scientist at Evidn who contributes to the company's agriculture and renewable energy portfolios in the United States. She is largely involved with research and generating literature reviews of relevant behavioral science principles influencing the adoption of behaviors within communities.
Mahika recently graduated with a joint degree from The University of Chicago. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (with Honors) and Comparative Human Development, as well as a Master of Arts in Social Sciences. Mahika was awarded the U.S. Congressional Gold Medal and has been celebrated several years in a row by the NYC Mayoral Office Service Recognition Program.
Parth Thaker

Parth is currently completing a Bachelor of Health Science Honours at The University of Queensland. His Honours project explores smoking behaviors amongst people with mental illness, particularly uptake of smoking amongst young people undergoing treatment for early-onset psychosis. While undertaking studies, he has gained work experience in hospitals gaining key skills in patient management and administrative work but has also experience volunteering in multiple charities. At Evidn, Parth supports the behavioral science team on the ‘Time for You’ project to implement behavioral change strategies to reduce Low Value Care throughout numerous Queensland Health Facilities.
Marissa Jordan
Project Liaison Officer
Marissa Jordan is a Project Liaison Officer and leads on-ground stakeholder engagements across Evidn’s New York State portfolio of agri-environmental projects. She specializes in community engagement and helps drive positive change and cooperation between multiple agencies. Her key focus includes consulting with local stakeholders to better understand attitudes toward change and identify potential barriers to adoption and practice change. Marissa graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Human Development, with a concentration in psychology. Marissa has years of personal experience in agriculture and volunteers with local 4-H clubs to help children learn about agriculture.
Holly Caggiano
Behavioral Science Advisor
Holly Caggiano earned her Ph.D. from the Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy at Rutgers University. She is an interdisciplinary social scientist who studies on social dimensions of climate and energy transitions. Her dissertation research explored social-behavioral drivers of household resource consumption at the food-energy-water nexus. She is currently a Distinguished Postdoctoral Fellow at Princeton University’s Andlinger Center for Energy & the Environment, where she works on identifying pathways for cross-partisan public support for large-scale renewable energy deployment projects in key communities in the U.S.
At Evidn, Holly provides behavioral science expertise and input to Evidn’s renewable energy portfolio across the United States.
